Cleaning the water filter
Clean the water filter according to the instructions for the filter, to ensure a correct water flow in the sys-
tem� The filter should be cleaned after 1 month in use, and then 2 times a year�
Cleaning the heat exchanger
The heat exchanger flanges get covered in dust or other impurities in time, which affects the efficiency�
Clean the heat exchanges according to the instructions below 2 times a year�
1�
Remove dust and dirt from the flanges with a vacuum cleaner�
2� Clean the flanges with water and a soft plastic brush� Do not use a high-pressure jet� If the outdoor
unit is used in dirty or oily environments it should be cleaned by qualified personnel using the
stiplulated detergent�
3� Allow the outdoor unit to dry�
4� Make sure not to expose electrical parts to water during the cleaning�
5� The flanges are sharp – wear safety gloves�
6� Do not expose the flanges to hard objects and/or heavy pressure, they are easily damaged�
7� Clean the heat exchanger more often in salty environments�
8� Move the unit to a more suitable place if the flanges show signs of corrosion�
Refilling gas
If the appliance does not contain enough refrigerant it will not work efficiently� Note the following points
before filling refrigerant�
1�
The work should be carried out by qualified personnel�
2� Check before refilling that the copper pipes are not leaking� Repair any leaks, or replace the pipes,
before refilling�
3� Do not overfill with refrigerant, this can cause problems such as overpressure and low efficiency�
