• The key for mechanical opening of the EFT-stand should only be used in an emergency and
should not be left in the lock.
• The EFT-stand complies with the currently valid safety regulations of information
technology equipment, in particular EN 62386-1, and should only be used in installations
which also comply with these regulations.
• This product corresponds to the law about the electromagnetic compatibility of company
means EMVG – This is the conversion of the EU directive.
• The EFT-stand complies with EU Directive 2011/65/EU for RoHS conformity. This device is
entitled to lead the EC conformance sign – CE – according to the German EMVG.
3. Assembling
3.1. Mounting the base
Note
: Please note that there are different
possibilities for cable routing (see chap-
ter "Cable routing" Possibilities of cable
routing“).If option 2 or 3 is selected, an
additional drill hole is required for the cable.
Proceed as described on page 6.
• Place the base on the spot (e.g. tabletop,
metal plate, etc.) on which you want to
mount it.
• Lift the base cap. Mark the four holes by
using the holes provided for the screws in
the base
• Now drill the fixing holes.
• Insert the screws from above through the
base and through the selected surface.
• Fix the screws from below using an hexa-
gon socket screw key by locking the nuts
from below. (M6 hexagon nut, 45 mm).
