To access the web interface provided by Console, one of the following web browsers is required (other
should also work but have not been tested): Google Chrome, Firefox 3.5 or later, Safari 3.0 or later. Internet Explorer
has a slow javascript engine and a non-standard behavior so it's not recommended. For the best Console experience
we highly recommend the Chrome or Firefox and a 1280 x 1024 pixels or higher resoluton display.
The web browser must have javascript and cookies support actvated. Java support and Flash are not
required. To access the Contextual Help you must install Adobe PDF Reader.
Software Installation & Download
Sofware installaton instructons are listed and updated on the Andrisof website for RedHat-based, SuSE-
based and Debian-based Linux distributons.
You can try a fully functonal version of WANGUARD for 30 days. You can switch to a full-tme, registered
version by applying a purchased license key.
Opening Console for the first time
Console is the web interface through which you will control and monitor all other components. If you
followed correctly the installaton instructons, from now on you will only need to log in to Console to manage
WANGUARD.
To log in to Console open htp://<hostname>/wanguard. If the page cannot be displayed, make sure the
Apache web server is running and the frewall does not block incoming trafc on port 80.
Licensing Procedure
If you haven't licensed WANGUARD yet, you will be asked to do so. You must upload the

we sent you by email by clicking the key icon. The license key contains encrypted informaton about the licensed
capabilites of the sofware. You can switch between WANGUARD and WANSIGHT solely by changing the license
key.
