Parts Verification
Side and armrests • Check the fasteners.
• Check that the armrests can be adjusted effortlessly.
• Verify that the armrests are locked in place.
Legrests • Check that the legrests engage correctly.
• Check that the adjustment options function correctly.
Pneumatics • Verify that the tyre pressure is correct.
• Tyre-wear varies significantly depending on surfaces. Frequent
use on hard surfaces like concrete causes premature wear.
Front wheel track • Check that the steering of the front wheels moves freely.
• Check the correct fixation of the elements.
• Check that there is not too much play in the pivots.
Electronic system Check the condition and proper fixing of the wiring and connections.
Seat incliner • Check that the two tilt end stops of the seat are in good
condition.
• Check that they are both in contact when the seat tilt is at its
maximum.
• See part 10.9. Seat tilt malfunction.
Mechanical • Check the tightening of screws and bolts
• Check that the wheels are correctly attached to their axles
• Verify that the rear wheel track rotates correctly.
• Check that the rear wheels turn without warping.
• Check that there is not too much movement or suspicious
noises.

Once a year, have your wheelchair checked by your distributor who should carry out full
maintenance. Regular maintenance enables rapid detection of damaged or worn parts and thus
assists the normal functioning of the wheelchair.
