CHEST STRAP
1. USING THE CHEST STRAP
!
WARNING
• The chest strap may only be assembled, adjusted and
adapted adapted by an authorised supplier.
• Before operating the standing function, the chest strap
supplied as standard must be buckled according to
instructions.
• ALWAYS use the chest strap with pelvic belt and knee
support/strap for the standing function procedure.

PROHIBITED!
• Due to the risk of choking, DO NOT use chest strap
without using the knee support.
• NEVER use the chest strap as a patient restraint.
• NEVER use the chest strap on a user who is comatose
or agitated.
2. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT AND POSITIONING:
(FIG.2)
a) The user must be seated properly in the wheelchair.
b) Loosen securing screws (A) on both sides with.
a 4 mm Allen key and 10 mm wrench.
c) Slide chest strap at the desired height.
d) Tighten screws.

WARNING
• To prevent choking hazards the chest strap may not be
adjusted too high or too low on the user’s body.
• Make sure the user does not slide in the wheelchair seat.
If this occurs, the user may suffer chest compression or
suffocate due to pressure from the chest strap.
NOTE
- Ensure the chest strap position does not interfere with
any other device attached to the wheelchair.
