Thread the incoming AXlink cable through the knockout.
4.
Disconnect the AXlink connector from the Central Controller and thread the terminal end of
the 4-pin AXlink cable through the circular cable knockouts provided on the wallbox.
5.
Attach the data and power wiring to the touch panel.
6.
Test the connection by reconnecting the AXlink connector to the Central Controller and
communicating with the PC.
7.
Verify that the panel is receiving power and functioning properly. This should be done to
prevent repetition of the installation.
8.
Disconnect the AXlink connector from the Central Controller until the installation of the panel
is complete.
9.
Connect the data and power wiring to the rear of the touch panel.
10.
Fasten the CB-CP4 to the stud through the tabs shown in FIG. 3. The wallbox can be secured to
the stud by using either nails or screws. This installation must be done prior to any wall
installation.
11.
Slide the main unit (

in FIG. 2) into the conduit/wallbox (

in FIG. 2) until it slides in
completely and flush against the wallbox.
12.
Use the securing screws (two #4-40 screws provided) to attach the main AXD unit to the wall
box. Refer to
B
in FIG. 2 for more information.
13.
Place the Faceplate on a level surface with the internal side up. Take the plastic pushbuttons
and insert them (engraved side down) into the six holes on the faceplate (FIG. 4). Make sure
that they are secured firmly into place before attaching the faceplate.
