4" Color Touch Panels

Fasten the main AXD unit to the surface using the surface-screws (#4 wood screws) supplied 

with the enclosure (FIG. 8). Refer to 

B 

in FIG. 5 on page 5 for more information.

Place the faceplate on a level surface with the internal side up. Take the plastic pushbuttons and 

insert them (engraved side down) into the six holes on the faceplate (FIG. 4 on page 4). Make 

sure that they are secured firmly into place before attaching the faceplate.

Carefully snap on the faceplate (

plastic buttons are flush against the faceplate and secure.

Reconnect the AXlink wiring to the Central Controller. The touch panel beeps when power is 

applied.

Mounting the Decor-style panel on plasterboard/drywall

To install Decor-style touch panels on plasterboard/drywall:

Carefully remove the Decor faceplate (

 in FIG. 9) from the main AXD unit (

 in FIG. 9) by 

gripping the faceplate from the notches (located along the underside of the plate) and pulling 

with gentle force.
