stainless steel seal housing (

by the seal housing (

4. The mechanical seal should be installed
by hand. No special tools are required
unless it is indicated. You may use a hook
to remove the O-rings from their grooves.
Be careful not to scratch the seal faces.

5. Look for defects on the sealing surfaces such as scratches or wear. If a replacement is necessary,
it is recommended to change all components to ensure proper operation. If an O-ring is deformed
or damaged it is recommended to replace the entire set of O-rings.
Uninstalling the Single Mechanical Seals
1. By hand, remove the stainless steel rotary holder subassembly (
12B-F
) by grabbing and pulling
out from the rotating face (
12F
). When pulling, the static face (
12G
) may come along.
