Check/Adjust the range as follows:
Note
The positioner is set in the factory so that a 0.2 to 1.02 bar (3- 15 psi)
instrument pressure produces a full stroke movement. This may be changed
by resetting the full stroke position (max. opening) at the 1.0 bar (max.
instrument) pressure.
Set the instrument signal to its maximum value, 1.02 bar (15 psi).
CAUTION
If the knurled adjustment ring is turned too far anti-clockwise, it can
disengage from the spring. Be careful not to turn it too far.
If the actuator does not stop at the full stroke position, rotate the knurled
adjustment ring until the full stroke position is reached.
Turning the range adjustment ring clockwise reduces the range.
Anti-clockwise increases the range.
Repeat the procedure from Step 2 until there are no further adjustments
required for the zero and range.
When adjustment is complete refit the access plug.
Refit the Positioner cover.
