Electro Pneumatic Converter Installation
The 8064C electro pneumatic converter must not be installed in a position
subject to vibration.
Temperature Sensor Installation
Position as close as possible to the point of control.
Ensure positioned at least 6 pipe diameters in length from any junction.
Ensure the end 40 mm of probe is a close as possible to the centre of the
flow path.
Do not run cables in very hot areas which can cause cable failure and
inaccurate measurement.
Avoid installation in areas of high vibration.
Avoid installation into potential air pockets.
Position in an accessible location for future maintenance access.
Use heat transfer compound in thermal well.
Controller Installation
The installation will be affected by the choice of controller components. Refer
to manual OMM807100043 (PID Controller) or 46307L004 (Pneumatic
Indicator Controller) for specific installation details.
