Preparing skirting
• If you are fitting skirting to the wall,
cut a slot to allow the sound from
the ALF100SM to pass through the
skirting.
The port opening size for the skirting
is recommended as 308mm x 21mm

The recommended size above is 1mm

”) larger than the ALF100SM port to
ensure that the port is not obstructed.
• Measure the height of the bottom
edge of the port opening above the
floor surface.

• Mark up the opening on the skirting,
setting the bottom edge of the
opening 1mm (

measured height of the lower edge in
the wall.

• Cut the opening.
• Using a 5mm (

”) radius router bit,
rout around the outside profile of
the slot as shown in the section view
below to reduce port noise.
