Step 8 Connect Cables
When attaching connectors to the motherboard, make sure to attach the
correct end. Most connector wires are color-coded. Match the color of
the wires leaving the switch or LED to the same pin on the connector
end. There may be more than one connector with the same color-coded
wire. If so, follow the wire to the proper pin on the switch or LED. Pin
1 is labeled on the motherboard.
In some cases, the "1" may be obscured. Pin 1 can also identified easily
by turning the motherboard over and looking at the connector pads. Pin 1
is always on a square pad. The cables to be connected are:

Reset Switch cable to J31
·
Speaker cable to J22.

Keyboard Lock cable to J30.
