When you validate or save settings, the UCT software uses a green
or red status to indicate whether or not the input channel is
configured correctly. Green indicates the input channel is
configured correctly, while red indicates one or more problems
with the current channel configuration. If a red status appears, view
the message at the bottom of the window to identify which
setting(s) is incorrect and then re-configure the input channel as
required.

to save configuration settings and close the
configuration window.

To configure another input channel, repeat steps 1 through 7.
Saving Configuration Settings in the Event Log
It is important to save configuration settings after you finish configuring
the unit. Configuration settings are saved in an Event Log (also called
configuration file). The Event Log contains information that can be used
to configure the unit on the Bullhorn website.
The Event Log saves on your hard drive in the same folder that contains
the UCT software. The UCT software automatically assigns a file name to
the Event Log using the serial number of the unit and the “.bhs” file
extension.
To save configuration settings, click

Transmitting a Test Packet
Complete the following steps to transmit a test packet:

Communications Settings

Starting test packet transmission...
The UCT software displays a countdown sequence (in seconds) in the
window until an acknowledgement is received or communications cannot
be established with the Bullhorn website server.
