To view the Event Log, click
File

View Event Log
or press
F3

To edit the Event Log, type the information you want to add
directly in the Event Log. When you finish, click
File
>
Save
or
click the disk icon in the tool bar to save the Event Log.

To print the Event Log, click
File

Print
or click the printer icon
in the tool bar to print the file.
Configuring a Unit
This section describes how to configure the unit using the UCT.
Selecting a Unit
Complete the following steps to select a unit to configure:
1.
Start the UCT software by double-clicking the program icon on
your desktop, or click
Start
>
Programs
>
American
Innovations
>
Configuration Toolkit
.
The UCT software automatically scans and detects all units
currently connected to your computer. When the
Find Devices
window (Figure 2-5) displays, it includes a message that indicates
the number of units found during the scan and detect process.

Select the unit you want to configure and click
Select
.
The main configuration window displays.
3.
Press
F2
to verify the unit and UCT software are communicating.
You can also click
Tools
>
Read Unit Settings
to verify
communications.
