3. Place the steak in the middle of the hot, dry skillet. Cook for 1 minute without
moving.
4. Turn with tongs and cook another minute, then repeat this again. You
cook the steak for 4 minutes in total (for medium-rare steak). If you prefer
medium add another minute to the cooking time.
5. Remove the steak from the skillet, cover loosely with foil and rest for
2 minutes.
6. While the steak is resting, place all the salsa ingredients into the bowl with
the chopping blade attached and process until you have a paste. Taste and
adjust the seasoning by adding a little salt if needed.
7. Serve with the rib eye steak.
Chocolate Mousse pots with honeycomb crunch
A fabulous dessert if you are looking for a quick chocolate fix! The added
sponge candy gives these lovely little chocolate pots a great texture.
Serves 2.
Ingredients
:
• 2 oz. dark bitter sweet chocolate
• 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
• 7 fl. oz. heavy cream
• 1 oz. sponge candy/honeycomb, chopped
Preparation method
:
1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 50 % to ensure the chocolate does
not burn, leave to cool.
2. Place the whipping disc into the bowl and pour in the heavy cream and the
cooled chocolate. Press the operating button on the left (for mixing and
kneading) and process till thick.
3. Add in most of the sponge candy/honeycomb but save a little to decorate.
Give the mixture a quick mix again and then remove and serve in dessert
glasses with a little of the sponge candy sprinkled on top.
