− The food processor shall not be used by children. Keep the
food processor and power cord out of reach of children.
− Close supervision is necessary when the food processor is
used by or near children.
− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.
− Make sure that children cannot pull the food processor off
the work surface by means of the power cord.
− When disposing of the food processor as waste, it must
be made inoperative by cutting off the power cord.
Ensure the severed power cord is disposed of properly as
it represents a serious safety hazard. Also remember to
make any potentially hazardous parts of the appliance
safe, as there is a risk that children may use them as
playthings.

The food processor has the potential to cause injury from
misuse. Improper installation and the use of accessories,
including bowls, not recommended by the manufacturer may
result in personal injury.
− Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades or discs
when processing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to
persons or damage to the food processor. A spatula may be
used but must be used only when the food processor is not
running.
− Do not remove food from the sides of the bowl while the
food processor is operating. Switch the food processor off,
unplug it, wait for the blade to stop completely and always
use a spatula.
− Make sure that the lid is securely locked in place before
operating the food processor.
