Operation
RISK OF INJURY!
Handling the Wok improperly may result in
injury.
USING YOUR ELECTRIC WOK
1. Set your wok on a flat, dry, heat resistant surface.
2. Set the temperature control dial to ‘OFF’ and plug the temperature control
thermostat probe into the base on your wok.
3. Plug the cord into a 120V power outlet.
4. Set the temperature control dial
(Fig. A) to the desired temperature setting by
aligning the temperature on the temperature control dial.
NOTE: On initial heating of your wok, it is recommended that the temperature
be allowed to cycle several times. This will help the non-stick cooking surface to
adjust to a more accurate cooking temperature.
5. Use the glass lid with required recipes to cover food while cooking.
CAUTION: Your wok is hot! Use hot pads or oven mitts. Do not touch cooking sur-
face while Wok is on. Use the handles.
6. After food is cooked, set the temperature control dial to the ‘WARM’ setting until
ready to serve, or to ‘OFF’ if food is removed immediately.
(Fig. A)
7. After cooking, turn the temperature control dial to ‘OFF
(Fig. A)’. Unplug the
cord from wall outlet. After your wok has cooled, remove the temperature control
thermostat probe.
CAUTION: The temperature control thermostat probe may be hot. Probe and
cooking surface may remain hot for some time after turning the thermostat to OFF.
