Danger area and danger points
The danger area is the area around the implement in which people
can be caught by:
•
work movements made by the implement and its tools
•
materials or foreign objects ejected by the implement
•
tools rising or falling unintentionally
•
unintentional rolling of the tractor and/or the implement
Within the implement danger area are danger points with permanent
and/or unexpected risks. Warning labels indicate these danger points
and warn against dangers, which cannot be eliminated for construc-
tion reasons. Here, the special safety regulations of the appropriate
section shall be valid.
No person may stand in the implement danger area:
•
as long as the tractor engine is running with a connected PTO
shaft / hydraulic system / electrical
•
as long as the tractor and implement are not protected against
unintentional start-up and running
The operator may only move the implement or switch or drive the
tools from the transport position to the operational position or vice-
versa when there is no one in the implement danger area.
Danger points exist:
•
between the tractor and implement, especially when connecting
and disconnecting
•
in the area of moving parts:

ο
rotating disks
ο
adjustable disk rows
•
when the implement is in motion
•
in the folding and unfolding area of the implement wings
•
in the area of the implement's hydraulic system:
ο
while working on the hydraulic hoses
