• Connect the test probes (S) across the circuit
or component being measured.
• If the measured circuit or component is
electrically open, the display (F) shows
OL
.
• If the resistance is <50 Ω, a beeping alerts
that low resistance is measured. The stabilized
value on (F) is read as the actual reading.
Diode test
• Insert the black connector lead (S) into the
negative
COM
(black) terminal (I) and the red
connector lead (S) into the positive
V
(red)
terminal (M).
• Set the function switch (K) to the
/
position.
• Press the
MODE/VFD
button (H) to change
the measurement mode. The indicator (11)
appears.
• Connect the test probes (S) across the diode
being measured.
• If the diode was measured in reverse, the
display (F) shows
OL
. Reverse the probes
(S) position to get the correct polarity.
• The stabilized value on (F) is read as the
approximate forward voltage drop of the diode.
