Error/Warning:
Errors encountered during Terminal operation.
Ticket Data Check:
Read the data encoded on a thermal data matrix ticket.
Exit Mode:
Determine when the gate is vended.
Password Release:
Clear a management password.

5.2.1 Navigate to Page Two
Navigate to page two of the
Initial Operation
menu by pressing
Vol Up
on the
remote.
5.2.2 Check for Errors and Warnings
Enter the
Errors/Warnings
menu by pressing
1
on the remote.
Any errors encountered during normal Terminal operation are displayed in the
Errors/Warnings
window. Scroll through the errors by pressing
Vol Down
for
previous errors or
Vol Up
for the next errors.
5.2.3 Reading Encoded Ticket Data
The OPUS-4000 Series has the ability to read and display data printed on OPUS-
2000 Series entry tickets. Press
3
on the remote to enter the
Ticket Data Check
menu.
The ticket shutter will open once the
Ticket Data Check
menu has loaded.
Insert
an OPUS-2000 encoded ticket
into the Exit Terminal ticket throat.
A standard entry ticket will contain the machine number, lot number, rate letter,
ticket number, customer code, and entry date and time. The ticket type is
displayed near the top of the display.
5.2.4 Configuring the Gate Vend Operation
The Exit Terminal can vend the gate once the ticket is paid, or vend the gate
automatically without a payment. Press
4
to enter the
Exit Mode
menu.
Press
1
for a
paid
exit mode or press
2
for a
free
exit/automatic vend mode.
