The Machine Will Not Turn On
If the appliance does not switch on, proceed as follows:
1. Make sure the main switch is on “I”.
2. Check that the plug (2) on the power cable (3) of the appliance has been correctly inserted into the socket (4) of
the electrical outlet and/or power supply, and if not, properly connect it.
3. Make sure the electronic specifications of the machine correspond with those of the electrical outlet and/or
power supply (check the technical data on the serial number plate).
4. Make sure the collection tank is not full of liquid substances. Empty it if necessary (see the section (“ EMPTYING
THE COLLECTION TANK ”).
Insufficient Vacuum
If the vacuum performance is insufficient, proceed as follows:
1. Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the nozzle on the collection tank.
2. Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the accessory that is being used.
3. Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum hose.
4. Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum chamber of the accessory being used.
5. Make sure the cartridge filter is not dirty (see the section “ IMPROVING THE VACUUMING PERFORMANCE ”). If
this is not sufficient (see the section “ CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER ”).
6. If you are vacuuming liquids, make sure the foam filter is not dirty (see the section “ IMPROVING THE
VACUUMING PERFORMANCE ”). If this is not sufficient (see the section “ CLEANING THE FOAM FILTER ”)
7. Check that the secondary filters (foam filter, permanent fabric filter, or nylon filter) are not dirty (if necessary,
clean them as described in the section “ CLEANING THE FOAM FILTER ”)
