Translation of the original operating instructions
PrODuct DescrIPtIOn
Ceramill UV is an LED-lamp for the polymerisation
of light-hardening dental materials. Its wavelength
and controls are designed so that they ensure
fast and optimal polymerisation especially for the
modelling material Ceramill Gel and Pontic.
unPackIng anD checkIng
After unpacking the machine, check immediately
for any possible damage that occurred in transit. If
any damage did occur in transit, then please inform
your supplier at once. The device is delivered in a
fully operational state.
Please keep the transport packaging!
The packaging the device came in protects the
device from damage in transit.
settIng uP the DeVIce/asseMBly
Assemble the orange visor as shown in
Fig. 1

cOMMIssIOnIng
Check that the voltage specified on the label on
the back of the casing and on the mains adaptor
corresponds to the mains voltage available.
Do not attempt to carry out any alterations on the
machine or on the accompanying mains adaptor
by yourself! The protective earthing of the supply
point must be fully functioning.

OPeratIOn/hanDlIng
Plug in mains adaptor and connect to the power
supply – the polymerisation LED will briefly light
up to check functionality. Switch on the Ceramill UV
using the ON/OFF button

. The control LED will
shine green and the machine is ready for operation.

Ceramill UV is fitted with a movement sensor.
If an object is held about 2 cm under the lamp,
it will switch on automatically and contact-free.
After 7 seconds, an acoustic signal will sound:
this signals that the optimum polymerisation time
of Ceramill Gel and Pontic modelling material
has been reached. If the object remains under
the lamp, the next 7-second polymerisation cycle
will be automatically triggered.
When the polymerisation cycle is triggered, please
ensure that neither the LED nor the sensor is
fouled with the synthetic material.
If the polymerisation cycle is not triggered for
a period of 5 minutes, the lamp automatical-
ly switches itself off. If an object remains under
the lamp for long-term polymerisation (at a dis-
tance of approx. 2 cm), the lamp will also auto-
matically switch itself off after 5 minutes. After
pressing the ON/OFF button again, the machine
is ready for operation once more.
