Ensure the foundation can withstand the weight of the barrel sauna without subsiding.
We recommend using either a concrete slab or a pile foundation. The base of the sauna
must not rest upon anything that will degrade the quality of the timber (soil, grass etc.)
Your foundation should have some form of drainage or contour, allowing storm
water to drain away from the base of the sauna.
If you find after creating the foundation that your sauna base does not sit level, use
packing shims or similar to correct to level positioning.
The maximum width of the cradle bases is 1500mm.
