Displaying the Time

HOUR:
Adjust the hour.
MINUTE:
Adjust the minute.
RESET:
If the clock shows less than 30 minutes past, the
minute will be “: 00”; more than 30, the hour
advances.
• The clock-adjusting mode is cancelled when the power is turned
off, when

or
[MAIN CONT.]
is touched.
Setting Daylight Saving Time
Setting item: DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
Setting content: OFF / ON
ON:
Place the Summer Time mode ON. The time advances
by one hour.
OFF:
Return to the ordinary time.
Demonstration Function
This unit is equipped with a demonstration function capable of
showing basic operations of respective sources on the display.
Setting item: DEMONSTRATION
Setting content: OFF / ON
ON:
Turns on the demonstration mode to show the basic
operations.
OFF:
Turns off the demonstration mode.
• The demonstration operation is automatically repeated until the
function is turned off.
Sound (Beep) Guide Function
Setting item: BEEP
Setting content: OFF / ON
ON:
Activate the Sound Guide mode.
OFF:
Deactivate the Sound Guide mode. The sound guide
beep will not be produced when a button on the unit is
pressed.
Setting the Scroll
Scroll display is available if titles are entered in the disc. Scroll
display of CD text, folder names, file names and tag information is
also enabled.
Setting item: AUTO SCROLL
Setting content: OFF / ON
ON:
Turns on the AUTO scroll mode. Scroll display is
repeated as long as the mode is turned on.
OFF:
Turns off the AUTO scroll mode.
Scroll display is done once as a track is changed.
RDS Time Display
When ON is selected, the clock is adjusted automatically based on the
time data sent from the RDS broadcast.
Setting item: RDS CLOCK DISP
Setting content: OFF / ON
ON:
Adjust the clock automatically based on the time data. In
this case, the clock cannot be adjusted manually.
To adjust it manually, select OFF.
Adjusting Source Signal Levels
If the difference in volume level between the CD and FM radio is too
great, adjust the FM signal level as follows.

Setting content: LOW / HIGH
Setting the Sound Quality of the Tuner
The IVA-D300R/IVA-D300RB incorporates the MAX TUNE Pro for

Receiving RDS Regional (Local) Stations
When OFF is selected, the unit automatically keeps receiving the
related local RDS station.
Setting item: RDS REGIONAL
Setting content: OFF / ON
Setting ON/OFF for DRC (Dynamic Range Control)
If you set this ON when receiving the sound of a wide Dynamic
Range, the DRC (Dynamic Range Control) gain increases when the
source sound is small, and the DRC (Dynamic Range Control) gain
decreases when the source sound is large, making the Dynamic Range
narrower to give you better and more comfortable sound even in the
vehicle that produces a large noise.

Setting content: OFF / ON
• When a radio programme is set to ON, sound other than what you
previously set may be produced depending on the broadcast. In this
case, turn the programme OFF.
• Use this function when the DAB Receiver Box is connected.
