PRODUCT S COVERED:
This W arranty co v ers Car A u dio Prod u cts and Related
Accessories (“the prod u ct”). Prod u cts p u rchased in the Canada
are co v ered only in the Canada. Prod u cts p u rchased in the
U.S.A. are co v ered only in the U.S.A.
LENGTH OF WARRANTY:
This W arranty is in effect for one year from the date of the first
cons u mer p u rchase.
WHO I S COVERED:
This W arranty only co v ers the original p u rchaser of the prod u ct,
w ho m u st reside in the United States, P u erto Rico or Canada.
WHAT I S COVERED:
This W arranty co v ers defects in materials or w orkmanship (parts
and la b or) in the prod u ct.
WHAT I S NOT COVERED:
This W arranty does not co v er the follo w ing:
A
Damage occ u rring d u ring shipment of the prod u ct to Alpine
for repair (claims m u st b e presented to the carrier).
B
Damage ca u sed b y accident or a bu se, incl u ding bu rned
v oice coils ca u sed b y o v er-dri v ing the speaker (amplifier le v el
is t u rned u p and dri v en into distortion or clipping). Speaker
mechanical fail u re (e.g. p u nct u res, tears or rips). Cracked or
damaged LCD panels. Dropped or damaged hard dri v es.
C
Damage ca u sed b y negligence, mis u se, improper operation
or fail u re to follo w instr u ctions contained in the O w ner’s
man u al.
D
Damage ca u sed b y act of God, incl u ding w itho u t limitation,
earth qu ake, fire, flood, storms or other acts of nat u re.
Any cost or expense related to the remo v al or reinstallation of
the prod u ct.
E
Ser v ice performed b y an u na u thorized person, company or
association.
F
Any prod u ct w hich has the serial n u m b er defaced, altered or
remo v ed.
G
Any prod u ct w hich has b een adj u sted, altered or modified
w itho u t Alpine’s consent.
H
Any prod u ct not distri bu ted b y Alpine w ithin the United
States, P u erto Rico or Canada.
I
Any prod u ct not p u rchased from an A u thorized Alpine
Dealer.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY S ERVICE:
A
Yo u are responsi b le for deli v ery of the prod u ct to an
A u thorized Alpine Ser v ice Center or Alpine for repair and for
payment of any initial shipping charges. Alpine w ill, at its
option, repair or replace the prod u ct w ith a ne w or
reconditioned prod u ct w itho u t charge. If the repairs are
co v ered b y the w arranty, and if the prod u ct w as shipped to an
A u thorized Alpine Ser v ice Center or Alpine, Alpine w ill pay
the ret u rn shipping charges.
B
Yo u sho u ld pro v ide a detailed description of the pro b lem(s)
for w hich ser v ice is re qu ired.
C
Yo u m u st s u pply proof of yo u r p u rchase of the prod u ct.
D
Yo u m u st package the prod u ct sec u rely to a v oid damage
d u ring shipment. To pre v ent lost packages it is
recommended to u se a carrier that pro v ides a tracking
ser v ice.
HOW WE LIMIT IMPLIED WARRANTIE S :

A N D MERCHA N TABILITY ARE LIMITED I N DURATIO N TO
THE PERIOD OF THE EXPRESS W ARRA N TY SET FORTH
ABO V E A N D N O PERSO N IS AUTHORIZED TO ASSUME FOR
ALPI N E A N Y OTHER LIABILITY I N CO NN ECTIO N W ITH THE
SALE OF THE PRODUCT.
HOW WE EXCLUDE CERTAIN DAMAGE S :
ALPI N E EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR
I N CIDE N TAL A N D CO N SEQUE N TIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY
THE PRODUCT. THE TERM “I N CIDE N TAL DAMAGES”
REFERS TO EXPE N SES OF TRA N SPORTI N G THE
PRODUCT TO THE ALPI N E SER V ICE CE N TER, LOSS OF
THE ORIGI N AL PURCHASER’S TIME, LOSS OF THE USE OF
THE PRODUCT, BUS FARES, CAR RE N TALS OR OTHERS
COSTS RELATI N G TO THE CARE A N D CUSTODY OF THE
PRODUCT. THE TERM

CO N SEQUE N TIAL DAMAGES
”
REFERS TO THE COST OF REPAIRI N G OR REPLACI N G
OTHER PROPERTY W HICH IS DAMAGED W HE N THIS
PRODUCT DOES N OT W ORK PROPERLY. THE REMEDIES
PRO V IDED U N DER THIS W ARRA N TY ARE EXCLUSI V E A N D
I N LIEU OF ALL OTHERS.
HOW S TATE/PROVINCIAL LAW RELATE S TO THE
WARRANTY:
This W arranty gi v es yo u specific legal rights, and yo u may also
ha v e other rights w hich v ary from state to state and pro v ince to
pro v ince. In addition, some states/pro v inces do not allo w
limitations on ho w long an implied w arranty lasts, and some do
not allo w the excl u sion or limitation of incidental or
conse qu ential damages. Accordingly, limitations as to these
matters contained herein may not apply to yo u .
IN CANADA ONLY:
This W arranty is not v alid u nless yo u r Alpine car a u dio prod u ct
has b een installed in yo u r v ehicle b y an A u thorized Installation
Center, and this w arranty stamped u pon installation b y the
installation center.
