CD Audio/MP3/WMA Player
The enhanced CD player is compatible with regular shaped 12cm
disks in CD Audio, CD-R, CD-RW format as well as Multisession
CD, the CD player is also capable of playing CDs containing MP3
and WMA files. If available, the ID3 tags for directory, artist,
album and title can be displayed. Copy protected CDs which do
not comply with international audio CD standards (Red Book)
may not be supported.
Programmable Steering Wheel Remote Control Interface
This programmable interface allows the operation of the head
unit via the OEM steering wheel remote control of the car.
4-Channel Preamp Out
The 4-Channel Line Out multiplies the sound power combinations
and pre-amplifier connections. In order to optimize the signal to
its maximum to reduce the noise ratio and to increase the dyna-
mic, outputs are supplied at 2V.

In order to achieve an optimized integration in various dash-
boards, you are able to switch illumination color of the head unit:
Orange/Green/Dual.
External Display Interface (EDI)
The EDI enables the connection of the standard OEM display
(original equipment from car manufacturer) in the cockpit when
installing a VDO Dayton head unit so the information from the
car radio can be displayed.
