Alpha SolarSmart 100 - User Instructions

DESCRIPTION

The Alpha SolarSmart system is a pre heated dr

ain back solar collector system which includes an un

vented 103 litre cylinder

to store the water heated b

y the solar collector. It is recommended that the system is used in conjunction with an Alpha

combination boiler fitted with the Alpha solar inlet sensor which is supplied with the system.

The SolarSmart system consists of an un

vented cylinder

, one or two flat plate solar collectors and a dr

ain back unit.

 The cylinder

is fitted with a pump and temperature sensors – a control unit with displa

y is fitted within the cylinder casing. The dr

ain back unit

is fitted with a heat exchanger and pump

.

A pressure reducing valv

e and isolation valv

e is supplied which must be fitted in the mains w

ater supply to the cylinder.

The Solar cylinder is fitted with a control unit with integrated displa

y panel and push button controls

. The displa

y indicates the

wor

king modes of the system with symbols to indicate the wor

king components of the complete system.
