ate the latest technology in boiler design. With

urner efficiency and reduced electr
ical consumption together with high quality and reliability.
The boiler output will automatically adjust according to the requirements of the system.
The E-T ec R r
ange are designed to wor
k with most central heating controls ho
wev
er we recommend the enhanced Alpha
Climatic boiler energy manager further impro
ving the system efficiency by v
arying the system temper
ature depending on the
room temperature and heat losses - to be used only with the Alpha Div
erter kit if a DHW cylinder is used.
In addition all E-T ec R models f
eature optional connections for an outside sensor to enab
le the boilers built in w
eather
compensation feature
.
The boilers will provide centr
al heating when required during the on times as set according to the controls fitted.

OPERATING THE
BOILER
1
INTRODUCTION
Switch the boiler on at the mains supply socket s
witch. The boiler will be in either 'Standb
y' or 'On' mode.
By pressing button 1 (see Fig.
1) the Standby or On mode can be selected, or press and hold the b
utton 1 for eight seconds
to turn the boiler off
.
Standby -
In this mode the boiler will not provide hot w
ater or central heating, b
ut frost protection and pump circulation (if the
pump has been connected to the boiler terminals) f
eatures are still active and frost protection enab
led.
Off -
In this mode there is electrical po
wer to the boiler b
ut the boiler will not function in any condition.
On -
In this mode the boiler can be switched betw
een 'Summer' or 'Winter' settings by pressing the b
utton 2 (see Fig. 1).

The boiler controls are located on the control panel.Make sure the heating system is filled.
