recommended by the manufacturer (fiber-
glass lightweight concrete ducts).
Mount air ducts only according to the in-
stallation plan for the respective unit.

CautIon.
Insert air ducts at least 15 cm into solid
masonry so that the air ducts are self-sup-
porting over a maximum length of 1 me-
ter. extended air ducts and bends must be
fastened to the ceiling using perforated
straps or mounting rails.
Insert air duct of the fan side into the masonry. cut
to length if necessary...
Secure air duct in masonry on all 4 sides (for exam-
ple using wedges)...
installation
Set the unit on a stable, solid and level, preferably sound-
insulated surface. make sure that the foundation is de-
signed for the weight of the heat pump.
CautIon.
In the air outlet area the air temperature
is ca. 5 K below the ambient temperature.
under certain climatic conditions, there-
fore, an ice layer can form in the air outlet
area.
Install the heat pump so that the air blow-
er does not blow in the direction of foot-
paths.

several people are required to install the

Do not tilt the unit more than a maximum
of 45° (in any direction).
