Be sure the valve does not get caught in
or interfere with vise components be-
low the jaws.

Secure the Tail Assembly in the vise by
clamping the jaws firmly across the
flats of the Valve Stem (4) as shown in
Figure 11-3.

Fit a 2-3/8-inch open-end wrench
across the Valve Nut flats. Loosen the
Valve Nut.
5.
Thread the Valve Nut and assembled
Whip Hose from the Valve Stem as
shown in Figure 11-4.
6.
DO NOT remove the Valve Stem from
the End Cap. Wrap these components
