Cable Specifications

The minimum cable requirements for ports LAN1 and LAN2 are listed 
here.

10Mbps or 100Mbps: Standard TIA/EIA 568-B-compliant Category 3 
shielded or unshielded cabling.

1000Mbps: Standard TIA/EIA 568-A-compliant Category 5 or TIA/EIA 
568-B-compliant Enhanced Category 5 (Cat 5e) shielded or 
unshielded cabling.

Note

The maximum operating distance of these cables is 100 meters (328 
feet).
