Configuring System Administration Information
The procedure in this section explains how to assign a name to the
switch, along with other optional information, such as the name of the
administrator responsible for maintaining the unit and the location of
the AT-8326GB stack.
To set a stack’s administration information, perform the following
procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type
B
to select Basic Switch Configuration.
2. From the Basic Switch Configuration Menu, select
A
for System
Administration Configuration.
The System Admin. Configuration Menu is displayed in Figure 4.

3. Change the parameters as desired. To change a parameter, type the
bracketed letter in the corresponding command and, when
prompted, enter the new information.
The commands for changing the parameters in the System
Administration Configuration Menu are described below:
Set System [N]ame
This command specifies a name for the stack (for example, Sales).
This parameter is optional and may contain up to 50 characters.
