Installing the Switch on a Wall Mount
This section contains the procedure for installing the switch on a wall
mount The procedure requires the following items:

Two wall mount brackets (included with the switch)

Eight M3 bracket screws (included with the switch)

Four #8 x 1.5” pan head wood screws with anchors (included with
the switch)
To install the switch on a wall mount, perform the following procedure:
1. Review the procedure in “Choosing a Site for the Switches” on
page 50 to verify that the selected site is suitable for the unit.
2. Check to be sure that all of the appropriate components are included
in the shipping container. Refer to “Unpacking the Switch” on page 52.
3. If necessary, mount a piece of ¾-inch plywood to the wall. The
plywood must be securely mounted to the wall using appropriate
methods based on the wall surface.
4. Remove the equipment rack brackets from the sides of the switch.
5. Attach the wall mount brackets to the unit with four screws, as shown
in Figure 20.

6. Fasten the switch to the wall with #8 x 1.5” pan head wood screws.
