Frame A Field Controller Part Replacement Procedures

Chapter 3

Cooling Fan on 60 Amp Field Controllers

60 Amp frame A field controllers have a cooling fan that is installed at the top
of the device.

3. Remove the four screws that secure the slotted air flow plate and fan to

the top of the chassis. The fan is connected via a cable to the switching
power supply board and therefore will not pull free from the device until
the cable is disconnected.

4. Disconnect the fan cable from connector XV on the switching power

supply board and remove the fan and air flow plate.

5. Remove the twoM4 x 12.5 mm screws that secure the fan and spacers to

the air flow plate and remove the fan.
