On the Module Properties dialog box, complete the following steps.
a. Click the Input Configuration tab.
b. Enable COS for the digital input points on which a state change, that is,
Off to On or On to Off, triggers the Event task.
c. Set the desired input filter time for each COS-enabled input point.
d. Click OK.

Right-click Tasks and choose New Task.
IMPORTANT
An event is recognized only when it maintains the same state for at
least the duration of the input filter time specified.
