Replacing the touchpad

Procedure
1 Slide and place the touchpad into the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
2 Replace the four screws (M2x2.5) that secure the touchpad to the palm-rest assembly.
NOTE: Turn the computer over and open the display. Ensure that the touchpad is equally aligned along all four
sides.
3 Slide the touchpad cable into the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the touchpad cable.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length) , whichever applicable.
2 Replace the base cover .
