19. TESTING MIDI IN JACK

Power-cycle the unit and enter normal operating mode
z
Connect a MIDI cable from a MIDI keyboard (like MPK25) MIDI out jack to DM8 MIDI IN jack.
z
Play keys on the keyboard. You should hear sounds come out of the Main TRS and Headphone audio
outputs.
Appendix B: Hihat Control Input Tester
1 ¼” TS Plug
2 Normally-open momentary push-button switches (S1, S2)
1 100K 1% resistor (R1, any wattage)
Appendix C: Trigger Tester
1 ¼” TRS Plug
3 Normally-open momentary push-buttons switches (S1-S3)
1 100 Ohm 5% resistor (1/4W)
