Attaching the telescopic pole to the chainsaw
WARNING: Before attaching the power cord
of the chainsaw to the power cord of the
telescopic pole, make sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged from the mains
power outlet socket.
WARNING: When using this chainsaw with
the telescopic pole, make sure to first attach
the power cord of the chainsaw to the
power cord of the telescopic pole, and then
attach the power plug of the telescopic pole
into the mains power outlet socket.
WARNING: ELECTROCUTION HAZARD:
Never use the chainsaw or telescopic pole in
an area with overhead power lines or where
the branch being cut can come into contact
with overhead power lines.
1. Align the pole bracket (16) with the chainsaw rear
handle hole and handle bracket (35) (Fig E1).
2. Insert the pole bracket (16) into the chainsaw rear
handle hole. The pole bracket (16) holds the lock-off
button (25) in “ON” position. Hold the assembled pole
bracket (16) and chainsaw rear handle (1) firmly
(Fig E2).
3. Place the handle bracket (35) onto the clamping
bolt (c) and tighten it by turning the handle locking
knob (36) clockwise (Fig E3, E4).
4. Plug the chainsaw power cord (12) into receptacle
cord (15) at end of inner pole (17) (Fig E5).
