1.3.1 Set-up
Installing SIM and microSD cards
Insert SIM and/or microSD card into corresponding SIM and/or
microSD slot. Follow the steps below and the icons on your device
to insert SIM and/or microSD card accurately.

Before installing or removing SIM and/or microSD card,
ensure device is off to protect it from corruption or
damage. Note, regularly removing or installing SIM and/or
microSD card may cause tablet to restart.
Charging your device
1. Insert the small end of the charging cable into the device micro-
USB connector located on top of device, as shown.
2. Plug the other end of the charging cable into provided charger,
connect charger to power outlet.
For first time use of your device, you are advised to fully charge
battery (approximately 5 hours). Charging status (
) is indicated
by the percentage on screen while the tablet is powered off. The
percentage increases as the tablet is charged.
To reduce power consumption and energy waste, when battery
is fully charged, disconnect your charger from the plug; deactivate
Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth or background-running applications
when not in use; reduce the backlight time, etc.
