4.11. 16xSTM-1 - 4xSTM-4 connections
The connections are made by means of SFP modules from 1 to 4 inserted on front panel.
The 4 cavity on the front panel can be equipped with up to 4 STM-4 SFP modules or up to 4 STM-1 SFP
modules.
The unit can be used in conjunction with the relevant access card in order to provide up to 12 STM-1 optical
port (A12OS1E) or up to 16 STM-1 electrical port (A16ES1E).
The relevant ship between SFP and board is shown in Table 5 below.
