Power
•
Only service electrical personnel should perform wiring and cabling to the system.
•
All power to the equipment rack or cabinet should be disconnected before the installation.
•
The power cable(s) must meet your local electric code requirements.
•
The circuit breaker is not intended to be used as the chassis ON/OFF switch. Unplug the
power cord from the power source and disconnect the cord from the receptacle on the
power supply module to remove power.
Power Cord Requirements
The power cord set used with this 7450 ESS-1 must meet the local safety codes and requirements.
The requirements listed below are applicable to all countries:
•
The length of the power cord must be at least 6 feet (1.8 m) and a maximum of 9.75 feet
(3.0 m).
•
All power cords must be approved by an acceptable accredited agency responsible for
evaluation in the country where the power cord set is used.
•
The power cord must have a minimum current capacity of 10A and a nominal voltage
rating of 125V or 250V AC, as required by each country’s power system.
•
The appliance coupler must meet the mechanical configuration of an EN 60 320/IEC 320
Standard Sheet C13 connector for mating with appliance inlet on the unit.
•
The power cord set used with this 7450 ESS-1 must meet the local safety codes and
requirements.
