Refrigerator
A dual voltage refrigerator/freezer is supplied as standard
equipment. This unit will operate on 120-volt AC or 12-
volt DC power. The refrigerator switches to 12-volt DC
automatically when the AC power is disconnected and the
Refrigerator breaker is activated on the cabin DC panel. When
120-volt AC current is provided by the Refrigerator breaker
on the AC panel, the refrigerator automatically switches to
AC power.
The refrigerator is controlled by a panel inside the unit and the
door has a special latch to secure it while underway. Always
make sure the door is properly secured whenever the boat
is underway. Refer to the refrigerator owner’s manual for
additional operating and maintenance instructions.
Care should be exercised while operating the refrigerator on 12-
volt power without the engines running. It draws a substantial
amount of current and can severely drain the battery through
extended use. Refer to the refrigerator owner’s manual for
additional operating and maintenance instructions.
Microwave Oven
A microwave oven is provided as standard equipment. The
microwave operates on AC power and is protected by the
Microwave breaker in the AC breaker panel. Please refer to
the microwave owner’s manual for detailed information on
the microwave oven installed in your boat.
10.3 Main Cabin
Cabin Light Switches and Cabin Circuit Breaker Panels
Most of the cabin lights are controlled by switches on the
cabin walls. The overhead lights for the V-berth and main
cabin are controlled by an ON/OFF switch located near the
cabin door.
The AC/DC breaker panels are built into the galley cabinets
above the counter top. A Power/Fault (reverse polarity)
indicator panel is located above the microwave.
Cabin Storage and Steps
There is storage below the V-berth and in the hanging locker
forward of the head compartment. Additional storage is
provided by cabinets in the galley and head compartment.
Access to the forward bilge and the equipment installed there
is located below the removable cabin steps. The steps must
be removed to access the forward bilge. They are secured to
the rear cabin bulkhead by cam latches on each side of the
steps. The steps are removed by releasing the latches. Make
sure the steps are properly positioned against the bulkhead
and secured with both latches they are replaced. You should
also make sure you notify other members of your crew that
the steps have been removed and always reinstall them before
leaving the cabin.
