Tackle Storage Locker
A large storage locker with a lockable door is on the starboard
side of the cockpit below the helm seat. The tackle locker
is built into the seat base and has storage drawers and tackle
storage.
Below Deck Fishboxes
Two fishboxes are located in the stern below the cockpit sole.
Two flush mounted twist latches secure each hatch when
they are closed. When the hatches are open, each fishbox
can be removed to provide access to the stern bilge. A quick
disconnect coupler on the drain hose allows the fishboxes to
be completely removed for easy access to the bilge.
To remove the fishbox, open the hatch and lift the fishbox
out of the recess and set it on the cockpit sole next to the
opening. Be careful not to put excessive pressure on the drain
hose as you remove the fishbox. The drain hose or pump
could be damaged if too much pressure is put on the hose
while removing the fishbox. Release the cam lock levers on
each side of the quick disconnect coupler located in the drain
hose and separate the hose sections. Reverse the operation
and secure the coupler with the cam locks before setting the
fishbox in place.
The fishboxes are drained by a macerator pump located in the
starboard stern bilge and activated by the Fishbox Macerator
switch at the helm. Make sure to monitor the water level
in the fishboxes and turn the pump off as soon as pumping
is complete. The pump will be damaged if it is allowed to
run dry for more than a few seconds. The fishboxes should
be pumped out and cleaned after each use. Refer to the
Drainage Systems chapter for more information on draining
the fishboxes.
Transom Fishbox/livewell
Another insulated fishbox that can be used as a livewell is
located in the center of the transom gunnel. The insulated
fishbox is drained by gravity to an overboard thru-hull fitting
in the hull. It is accessed through two hatches in the stern
gunnel.
The livewell is supplied by a raw water circulating pump. A
overflow fitting in the livewell controls the water level. Refer
to the Raw Water System chapter for additional information
on the livewell system.
Cockpit Bench Seat
Your boat is equipped with a cockpit bench seat. The seat is
designed with hinged support legs that allow the seat to fold
against the rear of the cockpit when it is not in use.
To use the seat, raise the seat base and swing the legs to the
down position. Then lower the seat until the legs contact the
cockpit sole. To fold the seat to the stored position, raise the
seat and swing the legs to the stored position and secure them
