MAINTENANCE
Do not use solvents for cleaning the filter, this could damage the filter, especially its finish.
Always replace the joints and pieces that may not be in good condition.
Backwash and rinse when needed, as per the instructions specified in this manual.
Clean the sand every year for a better performance. It is recommended to change the sand inside the filter approximately
every 3 years.
WINTER PERIOD
In order not to damage the filter during the winter period, please follow the instructions below:

Perform a backwash and a rinse as previously detailed
Ͳ
Remove the water from the filter
Ͳ
Take off the lid to ventilate the filter in the period of inactivity
Ͳ
When you need to start up the filter again after a period of inactivity, follow the instructions stated in the paragrah

THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS

Operation of the
prefilter pump (Marami with SpaPack only)
Before start-up, open the transparent lid and fill the pump and filter basket with water.

START-UP
Check that rotation direction of motor coincides with the direction as marked on the pump casing.
Important wrong rotation can cause serious damage within 15 minutes.
If pump does not prime after a few minutes refill pump with water.

WINTERING
If there is any risk of freezing, completely empty the pump by the two drain lags of the casing of the pump.

START-UP INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting the pump carry out the following operations:
1.
Take off the préfiltre cover
2.
Fill up the pump with water through the préfiltre until it dips into the suction tube.
3.
If during this operation the basket has been taken out, do not forget to replace it inside the préfiltre to prevent large
particles from entering the inside of the pump specification board.
4.
Check that the voltage and network power correspond to those indicates on the pump specification board.
5.
Put back the cover on the préfiltre and screw it until closed, without forgetting to place the joint in it housing.
6.
For plugging, please read the indicated drawing on the engine junction box.
