ZONE INPUTS (MODEL ZAC-32S) 

 

 THE ZAC-32S ZONE PROCESSOR HAS 32 ZONE INPUTS WHICH ARE SUPERVISED WITH A 10K    
 OHM END OF LINE RESISTOR. NORMALLY-CLOSED OR NORMALLY-OPEN SWITCH    
 CONTACTS CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE SAME ZONE INPUT. ALL NORMALLY-OPEN DEVICES  
 ARE CONNECTED IN PARALLEL AND ALL NORMALLY-CLOSED DEVICES ARE CONNECTED IN  
 SERIES.  THE END OF LINE RESISTOR IS CONNECTED IN SERIES WITH THE LAST NORMALLY- 
 CLOSED DEVICE OR IN PARALLEL WITH THE LAST NORMALLY-OPEN DEVICE. 

 

     

      NOTE

:  A SHORT OR OPEN IN A SUPERVISED ZONE WILL INDICATE A ZONE VIOLATION.
