5.2.3 Changing a Parameter
Press the A/M key to enter the parameter configuration mode, the
parameter-name flashes; e.g.
For numerical parameters:
Press the button; the parameter value is increased. Press the button longer; the parameter value
increases rapidly.
Press the button; the parameter value is reduced. Press the button longer; the parameter value
drops quickly.
For character parameters:
Press the button, the parameter value moves
upwards.
Press the button, the parameter value
moves downwards.
5.2.4 Reset user parameters
Press the A/M key to enter the parameter configuration mode, the parameters flash on the screen (as in 5.2.3)
For PRST parameters (reset), INIA (automatic initialization) and INIM (manual initialization):
Keep button
Pressed; the LCD shows "STRT" in the first line. After 3 seconds user
settings are reset and the configuration menu is exited.
5.2.5 Exiting Configuration Mode
Press
A/M button
for 3 seconds to exit configuration mode and return to normal mode.

2. The configuration mode will be exited automatically if no input is made within 2 minutes. The
positioner then returns to its normal state.
5.3 Initialization
Once the assembly of the positioner on the actuator is
completed, the initialization must be carried out. Initialization automatically
opens and closes the valve. Review working conditions and take action to ensure that the movement does not affect the process
and personal safety. There are two ways to initialize: automatic tuning and manual tuning.
