3.9 – HIGH TURNDOWN RATIO OPERATION

The VELTRON DPT-

plus

 transmitter, with its high level of accuracy and automatic zeroing circuitry, can maintain linear

output signals on applications requiring velocity turndown of 10 to 1 (equal to a velocity pressure turndown of 100 to 1).

3.10 – HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS

Hazardous Locations.  The VELTRON DPT-

plus

 transmitter is Factory Mutual approved for the following:

• Explosion Proof: Class 1, Division 1, Groups B, C, D.
• Dust Ignition Proof: Class II, III, Division 1, Groups E, F, G.
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor NEMA Type 4X hazardous locations.

3.11 – ENCLOSURE

The VELTRON DPT-

plus

 transmitter is packaged in a NEMA Type 4X enclosure with standard industrial process

connections.

3.12 – MULTIPLE OPERATING POWER SELECTIONS

The VELTRON DPT-

plus

 can be powered by 24VAC or 24VDC.
