Changing the Brake Fluid
Remove the cap of the brake pump tank and fill it
with type DOT4 fluid. (Figure 6-7)
Insert a clear tube from the drain plug to a
collection recipient. (Figure 6-8)

Gently unscrew the drain plug to drain the fluid. (Figure 6-9) Press the brake pedal and hold it down.
(Figure 6-10) Plug the drain and release the pedal. Repeat operation until no more air bubbles escape from
the drain. Refill fluid to level as you go in order not to send air into the tube. Refill completely the level
once the drainage is complete.
