WALL MOUNTING

(FOR USE OF THE HEATER AS A FIXED APPLIANCE)

The heater is supplied with four (of each) fixing brackets, screws and

plastic wall plugs to enable it to be mounted onto a wall if required. If it

is decided to mount the heater on the wall, the feet should not be fitted.

The wall positioning must be chosen carefully. It must not be in front of or

below a power socket. It must NOT be below a shelf, curtains or any other

obstructions. Refer to the Safety Instructions.

There must be a minimum distance of 400 mm between the floor and the

bottom of the heater. Allowance must be made for any floor coverings,

carpets etc, and if any skirting boards are present.

Drill two fixing holes 486 mm apart on a horizontal line to the floor using an

8 mm drill bit.

Using the plastic plugs and fixing screws provided, attach 2 of the fixing

brackets to the wall.

The other pair of fixing brackets must be attached to the base of the heater

using the retaining screws so that the brackets project out at the rear of the

heater and hold the bottom edge of the heater away from the wall.

Clip the heater onto the two brackets that are secured onto the wall.

If required, the bottom brackets may also be secured to the wall using the

remaining fixing screws and plastic wall plugs.
