5.4.8.2 Image Transfer Protocol
This page is used to configure the firmware image protocol
information.
To open Image Transfer Protocol page, click
Firmware
Update→Protocol Configuration
from the menu bar. A sample
screenshot of
Image Transfer Protocol
page is shown below.
The various options of Image Transfer Protocol are given below.
Protocol Type: To transfer the firmware image into the BMC.
Server Address: Server IP address of the firmware image is stored.
Source Path: Full Source path with filename of the firmware image is
stored.
Retry Count:
Number of time(s) to be retried when transfer failure
occurs. Retry count ranges from 0 to 255.
Save: To save the configured settings.
Reset: To reset the modified changes.
Procedure
1. Select the
Protocol Type
from the drop-down list.
2. If the protocol selected is TFTP, enter the IP address of the server in
the
Server Address field.
3. Enter the
Source Path in the given field.
4. Enter the
Retry Count
value.
Note :
- IP Address made of 4 numbers separated by dots as in “xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx”.
- Each number ranges from 0 to 255.
- First number must not be 0.
